Knife Making weekend
Following our sell out weekend in November we are setting up another opportunity to make your own knife over the weekend of 26th-28th January . the participants will work to their chosen design to create a blade out of high-carbon steel. They will learn how to harden and temper the steel in order to achieve an excellent cutting edge. The handles will be made of variety of woods, to meet their aesthetic sense and to fit their hand. Finally we will make sheaths by moulding veg-tanned leather. The weekend is available to 18 and over unless accompanied by an adult when it is 15 and above. It starts on the Friday evening and runs all day Saturday and Sunday. The cost is £197 to include all tuition and materials.
The course would make an excellent present and gift vouchers are available . Please contact Pam if you are interested in the course on 0797 1737 626 or firstname.lastname@example.org
